Facts are the report of man. But, faith is the revelation of GOD.
Β The phrase “facts are the report of man” what we call “facts”-medical reports, financial situations, or human opinionsβare often limited, temporal, and subject to change.
Limitation of facts:
- Man’s reports are limited by human knowledge, which cannot see past tomorrow. These reports can include negative news such as sickness, financial lack, or failure.Β Β
Facts are the report of man. Serves a reminder that human analysis is subject to change. While truth God’s report is considered permanent.
But, faith is revelation of God.
Revelation meaning – a surprising and previously unknown fact, especially one that is made known in a dramatic way.
Facts tell you what is. But, faith tells you what shall be.
Β Β example:
- Facts say that the lion devours. If you get thrown in a lions den. You’re going to get eaten up.
- Faith says God can shut the mouth of the lion.
My God has sent His angel and has shut the mouths of the lions so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him; and also before you, O king, I have committed no crime.β – Daniel 6:22 (AMP)
- Facts say a virgin can’t conceive.
- Faith says Mary was the one that was a virgin and held and had Jesus Christ.
βHow will this be,β Mary asked the angel, βsince I am a virgin?βΒ – Luke 1:34 (NIV)
The angel answered, βThe Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. – Luke 1:35 (NIV)
Scripture reads
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
