The Bible warns against the love of money, which it identifies as the root of all kinds of evil. Placing money above God, can lead to harmful desires and destructive behavior.
For the love of money is a source of all kinds of evil. Some have been so eager to have it that they have wandered away from the faith and have broken their hearts with many sorrows. -1 Timothy 6:10 (GNT)
While money can be a source of pride and temptation, it can also be used to do good, be generous, and advance God’s purposes when managed wisely. Can you see how money could become your master over God? Remember to seek God 1st in all things.
