First giving All The Glory & Honor to God who is the head and Savior of my life.
Scripture reads
“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”
– Luke 16:13 (NIV)
Do you know that there are two masters of this world? Who are they? The Lord Jesus Christ and Satan, the god of this world.
In scripture Matthew 28:18 NKJV it says “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.”
Quick note to remember, when you see red letters in the bible that means these words came straight from Jesus. For those that think that Jesus is just a prophet. There isn’t a prophet in the world that rules and has all authority over heaven and earth.
Here is proof in scripture where Satan is a god on earth.
“Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God. ” -2 Corinthians 4:4 NLT
I want to tell you a story. There was a fence. A man sees God on one side and Satan on the other. God keeps calling the man to come over to His side. God makes it clear that He has to choose. Satan also tries to tempt him to come to his side. The man knows that God’s side is a good choice because he knows that God is good and wants the best for him and will make things right in his life. The man feels that he is a good person. But, the man feels that God has to many rules. The man still wants to do things he knows that God doesn’t approve. The man feels as if going to God’s side is to much of a burden to carry. The man knows that he shouldn’t choose Satan because he knows that Satan is bad and doesn’t want whats best for him.
The man decides: ” I don’t want to choose. I’ll just stay on the fence.” After a while, it gets very dark in his life and Satan comes and takes the man away.
The man says:
“Wait… I never chose you.”
And Satan replies:
” I own the fence. It belongs to me.”
Are you on the fence?
The meaning behind the story is.
- Delaying commitment can slowly pull a person away from God.
- Spiritually, undecided forever” is not neutral ground.
You cannot be neutral in regards to serving your Lord. If you’re not with God you’re automatically with Satan. No in between. You can only serve one Lord and Master.
“Take a moment today to examine your heart. Ask yourself what you’re still holding onto. Instead give it to Jesus. Pray honestly, surrender fully, and choose to place your trust, your life, and your eternity in His hands. Ask Him to forgive your sins. He is a forgiving God. Tomorrow isn’t promise
